The Ragone Center for Excellence in Accounting is launching the Ragone Scholars Program.
Ragone Scholars are outstanding individuals, who are expected to be exceptional ambassadors for the Ragone Scholars Program, the Online MAcc Program, and Rutgers School of Business–Camden (RSBC).
The Program offers $5,000 merit-based scholarships to Accounting majors at RSBC who:
- Are current BS in Accounting students or graduated with their BS in Accounting in May 2022 or August 2022, AND
- will enroll in the Online MAcc program at RSBC this fall or spring.
Students should submit scholarship applications before December 1, 2022 to be considered for scholarship eligibility.
The Ragone Scholars Program will provide a non-renewable $5,000 award to be granted at the discretion of the Accounting faculty to high-performing accounting students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher and notable extracurricular activities. To receive the full award amount, students must be enrolled in good standing in the Online MAcc program at RSBC and must maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher in the program. The $5,000 scholarship will be distributed as two $2,500 credits toward tuition during the recipient’s first two semesters.
To be considered for the Ragone Scholars Program, please complete and submit the following form, including an essay of approximately 500 words, describing your interest in an accounting career and how you plan to use your degree to meet your career goals.
The application deadline is December 1, 2022.
